I recently bought a box of SoB's, they're currently sitting on my desk unpainted, I can't decide what colour to do them, the rest of myarmy are Daemonhunters, so alot of shiney silvers and red, black, and white for heraldry and vehilce. Whilst I dont want my sisters to be silver, i want them to 'match' the rest of my army so that they look more like a combined force fighting as one, rather than two seperate forces helping each other out. Any opinions of which order might look best?
You could do them in a reverse scheme to that of your DH, paint the WH troops like DH vehicles and the WH vehicles similar to your DH troops. Obviously you'd have to make tweaks to the schemes to make them fall definitely into one camp of the pther or it'll just look like they're borrowing each other's vehicles. It could work though. Either that or you could use the secondary colour on your DH as a primary one on your WH and vice versa.

I have loads of different units and models in my empire army which i wanted to give a coherent armyfeel and at the same time indiviualistic. I did this by hlaving every model: trousers and shirts in different colors, but 1 of these was always blue. So my swordsmen where black and blue, handgunners tan and blue, etc. I also made all the details (weapon scabbards, ribbons) orange.
This has lead to a very consistent force, i feel.
Thanks for your ideas so far guys
A friend of mine was on about doing them as Order of the bloody rose, who i believe have red power armour, my only concern with that would be that id then have to find a way of making the red on the purity seals stand out
You might want to decide on an Order name before the scheme as this may help with the theme. The established major Orders all have a scheme that ties with their name, even in a little way, so if you're making your own Order than maybe naming it first will help you decide on a colour for it. Also what kind of bases do you like doing? This can sometimes help with a scheme as you may want to make it blend with the base or be a total contrast.
Hope you don't mind me posting a pic of my sisters to give you an idea. I like doing snow bases and had just finished an Ultramarines 1st company army on snow bases so I thought would be good to help tie the forces together for BIG games. I went for the name Order of the Frozen Sword as it gave off the same feel as some of the established Order names. Heres the scheme I came up with to fit in with these:
I went with purple robes coz I love painting purple and it ties well with the white armour.
Good luck with the scheme, would like to see what you come up with.
