Finished the Stealers 100gs
Original post Starts Here
Working on my copy of Spacehulk and thought I would share my first completed Stealer.
I have a couple more ready to dip and the brood lord just needs a few touch ups. Hopefully going to have a productive weekend with not to much xbox.

Personally, I don't care for the color scheme too much (the green is too vibrant).
However, the dipping seems to have gone very nicely with the model, and that wonderful piece of ruins that you've modeled.
I like the creative pose, as well. Good job on this model.
Edit: I see.

Its nice, different colors than what are normally seen. The dipping worked very well.
@The Green Meep. The model is from the recently released Space Hulk board game. The OP did not craft the piece of ruins.
Yeah sadly I can claim the ruins as my own but whilst the stealers are only getting the undercuts carved out and 4th arms for the 3 armed models My terminators have gone under the knife. Check my thread on Spacehulk Blood Angels to Space Wolves
I actually like the color scheme, IMO, it's something new that I havn't generally seen.
Join Warmachine and Hordes...or suffer the consequences.
Join cold death...The Necrons await,,.
That colour sceme is very interesting. It's quite odd that it actually works. It shows the carapace better than usual. The dipping has worked well, and the colours contrast well.
2500 points of Empire for ToXG: Points painted for month 4: 0 Points painted overall: 510
dipping has defiantly worked, especially on the base. I'd be interested to see one pre dip. I'm not convinced on the colour scheme, the contrast is a little too great for me, but thats just personal preference and I can't fault the execution. rep
Edit: ok, no rep, I must have repped you recently, 'though I'm not sure when...
I'll get some decent predips of the next batch, I got 6 more on the table most of the way finished.
@ Matus - The bases have had an addition layer added to them. After the dip is dry I give the bases a coat of Tamia acrylic Smoke, a translucent 'black/grey' colour. Its dirties up the metal and helps to blackline the details.
@ danjones87 - 6 and the broodlord almost read, 12 more bassed white and I need to mail back one of the stealers (miscast)
The colour scheme is one that already exists in the 40k universe though you wouldnt usually see it because Beil Tan Eldar players usualy have so many aspect warriors. Even My Beil Tan army doesnt have many Guardians (well not yet and I will use a less opaque dip)
I decided on white and green for 2 reasons. I got to many black and red armies and White spray + Green details makes for a real quick paint job.
