A memorial project to my son who passed away jan of this year. Ive been slowly working on it in what little free time I have.
For those not familiar with it, its this:
The start of it, the Gatling blaster arm. Its not done but does show the start of detailing such as the hundreds of rivets the end product will have:
And the Main Body as it progresses:
Start of the head:
Start of the actual armor:
The GS strip was going to be a spine but i dropped the organic idea:
Front View with armor:
Did a bit of work on the Lord of Battle Head.. Still ALOT to go but its coming together nicely.
Comments? problems? Im open to it all.
All I can say is wow,I see alot of people tryng to scratch build titans and the like but they are rarely finished. This will look so good when painted.
Just a man.... with a chainsword.......
Looks absolutely brilliant. I can't really find fault with it. Good use of materials, the bits from the GWkits aren't dwarfed by acres of empty, undetailled space, its AWESOME!

Im leaning towards alot of black, bronze and red.
My question now that im getting back to work on it is, spikes, studds skulls, rivets OR mutations, possessed parts, strapped corpses ect.
Im just stuck on the detailing and this guy is huge so he needs as much detailing as possible. Any and all opinions will be helpful
That's very cool and you are off to a good start, a very good tribute to your son. Normally I can find something that needs fixing or improving but I can't find it here. You could try to add some victims that have been sacrificed to the Daemon inside, perhaps hanging from chains. Reppy for this coll thing.
Skulls would be a big yes, what with the whole Khorne thing and his fascination with skulls.
I was going to suggest, for the large flat areas you need detailing, that you could make something that looked like skinned victims and put it on the side, but that sounds a bit icky. Entirely in keeping with a Khorne-dedicated machine of war, but still icky.
You could probably make banners or sheets of parchment and use those instead, unless you're not as squeamish as I. I just... I don't think I could explain to someone "Oh, and these bits here are meant to be flayed skin!" without feeling a little like I'd gone too far.
Just me and my sensitivities, though.
