Quite a nice model dude - I like that the paint job holds up really well even under a close digital camera shot. My best suggestion (in an ideal world) would be to go back and 'age' the model. This fellow has been dead for some time I'm assuming, but his armor looks like it just got a polish. How about some battle scars and scratches on the armor? What about cutting his purity seals/ribbons up so they look tattered? Still these are fairly picky, overall, very nice job dude, rep for you!

I second the aging of the armor and weathering a bit. Not too much, but just enough so that it does look like he's been there a while. You're blending is very smooth and the colors are spot on and strong. Just a bit of aging will do the trick. Did you use a black or white primer on him? His reds are very well done.
Great guys. Thanks for the feed back. It had crossed my mind about the weathering but struggling to bring myself to do it as I'm pretty pleased with the red. lol. Might just do some oil stain dribbles and such.
I have just added a little bit more to the chest wings to make them stand out a little more.
White primer with a slightly thinned coat of red over. The red was applied twice to ensure it was smooth.
Great model. I'd definitely give him a wash or two to tone down the armor a little and give it a more weathered appearance. He's been dead for a long time afterall.
Again, nice work.
That final bit of weathering seals the deal. He now looks very old and worn, and those reds are very rich indeed! A great bit of painting. Have some rep on me!
Just me being picky, but I reckon to finish him off you could do with making the eagle on his chest look more like the chalice on his power fist or his throne. It just contrasts a bit too much with his armour. Just a thought.
Well done. Red is not an easy colour to paint but you've got it right.

Oh yes, that last bit of weathering you added to it really finishes it off.
