I need to make some custom rocket launchers so I planned to use some very small tubing and just cut it so it looks similar to the IG rocket launcher but without the blast shield.
Does anyone know what I should use? I can't think of anything quite that small. I'm sure it's pretty obvious but I'd appreciate the help.
I don't know, I'm mildly stupid when it comes to that stuff. Where would one acquire such a thing?
Ah thanks so much! I just went there a few days ago and they had plasticard so hopefully they'll have that stuff too.
the stick from a lollipop might be the right size in a pinch..
ya know, the chupa's.
I don't think there's a store that sells lolipop sticks. I'd like it to be hollow as well but thanks. :]
You could also try pens. I mean, the cheap "stick" ball point pens that come 1,000 to a package or something like that. Bic makes some that, once you remove the cap on one end and the point/ink cartridge on the other, leave you with a hollow plastic tube.
Still, that's assuming it's the right diameter. I still say check with the hobby shop, as you can get them in various sizes.
Wow that's a really good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I could probably turn every one pen into two or three launchers....
If you go looking around hobby shops, keep an eye out for Evergreen products. They're pretty much king of the plastic sheet/rod/tube/etc market.
