I'm not talking about "sandy" paint here, but I've heard recently that when doing, say, rust, if you want a "rough" texture to the paint, you can add baking soda (or was it cornstarch?) to the paint, and it will dry with a rougher texture. Has anyone tried something like this? I know everyone uses baking soda as a finishing touch on "snow" bases, but I'm talking about mixing with the paint itself.
I have never tried that but I would imagine that baking soda would dissolve in that paint. I'm sure my wife has some in the baking cupboard now if the hinges are rusted shut Ill have a look and try it
^^ Lol wut?
