    Tournament legality of large conversions?

I was thinking of converting a Carnifex into a Hive Tyrant, similar to this Standing Carnifex:

    - HIVE FLEET MOLOCH - Warhammer 40,000 Tyranid Design Spawning Vat Variations on a Monster >Standing Fex Michael<

Now considering that that model is huge and that I want something similar to that as my final product, would this be tournament legal?

I personally would say that there should be no problem with that, unless the tournament organisers are VVEEERRRRYYYYY anus-y everything will be fine!

    Same base
    Roughly same silhouette
80% GW model (or scratch build if no GW model exists)

I myself like the link but thought it stood too tall. Look down a few threads, my conversion doing what you are looking at is in progress. Hoping to have the finished picks up this week as I only have dullcoat left to do!
