I have like two boxes of plague marines to build and paint. My army for the most part is very Tzeenchie with pre-heresy colours. I kinda am getting tired with the whole Death Guard look and am wondering what you folks have done or seen as far as paint schemes of plague marines? I could have sworn there used to be guide of some sort on the old uk.games-workshop....that was almost white or something. I think that it hsa been lost to the warp however.
Yep, white with a bit of dirtying up should look good. Nasty leaking fluids from armour joints often suits them.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!

That`s an "official" paint scheme, brown and green
Andusciassus, I nearly throw up, thanks for sharing!
This is the one area where I think a lot of the normally great painting techniques can fall flat. Looking above at many of the amazing pictures that Rabbit dug up, I can see a lot of fantastic paint jobs, but many of them are way too clean and sharp for me. I like my Death Guard filthy and horrid, gritty and seeping rot.
As to the original question, browns and whites would look good, in my opinion. Best of luck!
