    Converting Arbites?

I would like to include some Arbites into my DH/WH army, but as cool as the models for them are, I can't find them. I was thinking about starting with scouts but don't know where to go from there. Any suggestions?

I think scouts would be a good basis for the Arbites.

In order to make them less scouty how about some alternate heads- Pig Iron Productions make some head sprues that might be good, i think they are a good scale match too

Wow, $40 for that. As cool as they are, I don't have the cash to get as much as I'd need. Good to know I can get them though.

I was thinking about scouts and most of the conversions I've seen seem to have used Scouts. Good call on the Pig iron, I just took a look. They're not to expensive either.

im actualy in the process of building an Arbite army as a side project complete with a new rule set
i use IG cadians mostly but i have some SM scouts with IG heads they look ok, i also had a go at converting IG vostroyans. i cut of the heads an fitted cadian ones, modified the guns a little an did a blue/black color sceme they look realy nice but i didnt like the idea of converting an entire army of them lol, so i went with the cadians
wish i had a camera id post the pics for you.

im quite pleased with my marshal have to borow my GF cammera an post them lol

I make Arbites like this: SM Scout legs, Cadian bodies and some of the FW Cadian respirator helmets:

Ravendove - That is a great conversion. Simple but really effective. Nice work.

The girl on the right is my interpretation of a young Arbite (out of my Inquisitor's retinue):

I made her from an Escher Juve, one of the old riot shields and some GS.

It's a Land Speeder pilot shield (bought from bits sites), with plasticard added to the bottom and an Imperial Eagle from the IG Vehicle Accessory Sprue to hide the gap
