I'ld like to use Fantasy Black Orc models to convert for 40k Orks. I'ld like to know what the models size is in comparison to a 40k ork. Are they the size of a normal ork? or the size of a Nob? If they are the size of normal orks I'll use them to make some 'Ard boyz, but if they are the size of Nobz they'll be used for Flash Gitz or Nobz in 'Eavy armor.

I saw on the GW website that some guy who works for them converts black orcs for his 40k orks. He says the black orcs are bigger than ork boyz but I don't really see it. Here is the link:

Oh and reading it a little it says that he even used them to make Ard boyz

Tyranid: 2250 Points of Awesome (5/4/1)
Necrons: 1000 Points (4/0/1)
I'm currently converting some black orks to flash gitz.
point is, the configuration of legs is such that you must keep the black orc legs unless you are ready to do some more serious modification work. sticking space orks arms to black orks works fine without much adjustment needed.
