Exactly what the title asks.
If you know of one, or could suggest something, that would be great. Thanks.
I'm not sure if I'm answering the question or not, but couldn't you paint it like you'd paint any other face?
I really can't see how you'd paint the face differently if it was screaming or not. Granted, you'd probably highlight some different areas, but that depends more on how the light hit the face than the fact that it's screaming, I guess.
I'm sorry if i misunderstood the question.
Sorry I guess I should clarify.
I meant like ethereal faces on armor, like screaming faces on Chaos armor.
free hand faces or the raised molded faces..
If it is the latter, you would paint it the same way as any other face, except on the edges where it meets the armor you would need to blend it into the color of the armor..
Also, you get a pick of colors for the face.. do you want it to look demonic, or do you want it to look like trapped souls, or better yet, do you want it to look like rotting flesh from slain victims?
More like trapped souls. I thought about rised faces but I've put so much money in to this model I made already, I'd rather now. Plus further additions to it could ruin it.
I would look at painting it a spectral blue highlighting up to whites.. Try looking at some images from video games or movies that have souls flying around to get an idea.
Otherwise you are looking at having to freehand the face either way. I can only suggest looking up the images, and hoping that you are good at side by side replication.
My freehand sucks, so unless you can draw really well, you may not want to attempt this.. Your canvas is really small. And if you do choose to, get a very fine paint brush.
