As illness keeps me from my work I set my hands to something else. The idea came at me as I was about to sleep last night and didn't leave.
So this morning I made this:
I've only made this side so far, it's supposed to the the short side of the building. A front will be attached to the right and a bombed out backside to the left.
I also took a shot of the view from inside, just for fun.
I hope I'll be able to finish this one but I should warn you, my track record for finishing projects is short.

Very nice piece of terrain you are working on there, cant wait to see more pics.

Looks great. I also suffer from the "problem finishing projects" disease.
I can give you some pointers on how to fight through it.
Make all four walls, cut them out and have them available. Once you complete the building, the rest of the small stuff (flooring, balconies, details, etc.)
Once you put the building together.. the details can be added later. I have many many buildings on the shelf that need detail work, but when the mood strikes, i add a bit here, or there, but the building itself is still table-able.
But the one wall you build makes me excited to see what you are going to do with the other three..
Good on ya.
Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
Ok, this is not the substantial update I intended for this evening, but something is better than nothing right?
Without further excuses, I give you; the mockup!
And an image of a piece of detailing on the door. For reference, that door is 3 cm or 1.2 inch wide...
Not as substantial as I'd hoped, but at least it's something. Hope you enjoy!

I think its coming along very nicely, and I think your update is a little more substantial than you think it is.
I second that. This is looking good- I'll be keeping my eyes open for more. Cheers
Now its starting to look interesting!
Your not the only one who doesnt finish terrain, I have a collection that need finishing!! (one day)
Its going to be quite big, I think it should be based on some 6mm hardboard to make moving it easy.
Heres a pic for some further inspiration -> Steelworks furnace
Hop you get it finished!
The base is also needed since I want the floor littered with debris, like pieces of the wall and floors that has fallen in.
