    Painting lighting effects.

Does anyone know of a thread/tutorial on how to paint lighting effects? Such as a power fist held out from the body giving a blue aura that lights the power armor. Or if thats unclear, a lava base casting the reddish/orange light onto the mini's legs. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I tried searching but I seem to be inept at using the LO search engine, as I was getting everything from army lists, to post with the word "light" in it.

The day will not save them. And we own the night.

What you should be looking for is called 'object source lighting' or OSL for short.

I'm afraid my lame attempts at this technique have failed spectacularly, so my advice would be redundant, however, I've seen a couple of tutorials around.

Bear with me while I look them up.

EDIT: Check this one out from CMON.
