I'm looking to build a modular cityfight board but have some reservations about GW's Cities of Death terrain. I've used it extensively in the past - they make great ruined buildings - but the kind of board I'm looking to build is more of a futuristic sci-fi city. Perhaps one of the Imperium's worlds that hasn't yet been fought on several thousand times.
Think Mirror's Edge (screenshots below). Lots of clean lines, white and a few primary colours to accent features.
So does anyone have examples of GW terrain that isn't built as ruins? Or have any links handy to other manufacturers that produce scenery that would replicate this effect? Or, failing that, any expert scenery makers who can give any advice on scratch-building modern buildings?
