I prefer the overall concept of the blue scheme, but it does lack the contrast of the green scheme as everything blends into the background. Personally I think more contrast on the blue scheme and make the pink less vibrant would make the best looking mini.
I would have to say blue as well. It looks great when you have 100 'nids in Blue.
Hm. They're both rather good choices, I like the green one. However, I would consider dropping the pink - I feel its a bit too bright and outstanding - for a purple instead. The purple with the green would look great, I think. What about their bases?
i like the blue but it really needs a bit more it just looks like it is all one color but that could just be the pic
The blue one hasn't been highlighted in any way so it is mainly all one colour.
So no one likes the bright pink? Hmmm. The original concept was for a mainly dark colour scheme with some small details picked out with something bright. I picked florescent pink. It's not as bright as it was originally due to a leviathan purple wash over the top. Quite like the metallic carapace as well so don't really want to change it. Could do a coloured metallic though maybe.
Haven't made a firm decision about the bases although I was going to try a volcanic type terrain with a bit of lava visible through cracks in black rock.
Bearing in mind the Nids are probably custom-coloured by the hive mind based on the planetary environment they're used in, I don't see any use for green and pink - if you swapped the massive contrast of the pink for something like an aqua or a lighter green I might feel different but the blue definitely looks more natural.
