So Im thinking of making a Silver Tower of Tzeentch based off of a Necron Monolith. My idea was to heavily modify the sides to remove the necron imagery and gauss blasters (the empty spaces Id fill with Green Stuff), and build some kind of a cover out of platicard (or other ideas if you have any?) and have it be a complete pyramid to match the Thousand Sons egyptian theme. I was also considering leaving the crystal in it and building around it to the point then paint the crystal blue...
If any of you have any ideas or recommendations on how I can accomplish this, please feel free to speak your mind. Also, I need some help in terms of what kind and where to get plasticard that is good to work with.
Any help is appreciated ^_^
To be honest i would build it all from plasticard otherwise you are buying something you will see little of
as far as plasticard is concerned the best place is from ebay - there are some starter packs with 12 a4 sheets of various thicknesses at about 8 quid tho for strucrural and layering to give some form i would suggest 2 mm or 3 mm at about 4.75 for 3 sheets
liquid weld or plastic magic adhesive gives strong joints without surface marking
Well a buddy of mine does have a spare monolith he failed at converting... maybe I can get a hold of that... but yes I will post pictures when (and if) I ever start! Im busy getting my army painted still...
