So I had this idea for a mobile platform/ pulpit for a priest, and I would like some suggestions/ ideas for how to fabricate something workable. (I know there is nothing like it in the rules for the game itself, I just want to make something unique and fun. I might also use it for my Dark Heresy game for an NPC I have...).
I'm thinking of using the Imperial Confessor Kyrinov piece, the back half of an Ork Wartrakk (the wagon part) and the body of the Sentinel Walker for the driver. Instead of using the actual driver, I was thinking of gutting the interior of the Sentinel, lowering the front half closer to the ground, using a servitor piece for the driver (much like the loader for the Exorcist vehicle) and building a "pulpit of sorts for Kyrinov to stand behind. Any thoughts? I'm especially curious if the Sentinel will fit on the back half of the Wartrakk...
It sounds like you're talking about something shaped like a K Loader, only shorter.
If you went with the K Loader design he could be raised up so everyone could see/hear him preaching. I've always been of the thought that Kyrinov wouldn't just walk around on the ground like everyone else. He's pretty snazzy. I think he would ride around in a pope mobile like the one you're talking about.
If you put some supporting models in his "squad" (because he wouldn't carry his own books or anything either) and made it sufficiently ornate then you might be able to use a design like it as an ad hoc Chimera. He could look like he has a group of officials in robes or something, but they really just count as a storm trooper squad.

(I know I can mock up some book servitors and other functionaries as well Again, thanks for the ideas!)
