I want my dred to have 2 CCW's but the right arm poses a problem for me. Has anyone got any ideas on the right arm CCW! If this has been covered somewhere else I apologize for the repost. But that dinky little crab claw that comes with the dred just isn't designed to be a right arm CCW! Thanks in advance for everyones help.
Get the imperial furioso arms and replace the "fingers" with some kind of blades.
I looked at the games workshop site and they didn't have any information on an 'Imperial Furioso' what is it and where can I get bits from it?
Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought Is the correct name. Just search for 'furioso' in the online store, and the pieces should show up.
Or you could buy one of the neat forgeworld dreads, you can order them with two CC weapons.
Ave Dominus Nox!
Thanks for the heads up Tubal, and thank you for the great links Absoluthor!!
The arms of the chrono-gladiator from the Inquisitor range are the best!! One seems to have a bolter of somesort on it, and the other a flamer!!! With magnets, or just glue, they fit wonderfully!!!! check it out!
Damn you're right! Nice link! Maybe I'll use those parts myself. I haven't seen many inquisitor models since inquisitor left whitedwarf. Now I'm going to browse some inqusitor parts..The arms of the chrono-gladiator from the Inquisitor range are the best!! One seems to have a bolter of somesort on it, and the other a flamer!!! Thanks Donny B; that's some cool fluff on that chrono-gladiator also!
Inquisitor models are your friends when it comes to making your own D. Prince and dread. Look through all of the models and you'll find a lot of good weapons for modeling!!!
You can get Forgeworld right and left close combat arms. I like them better than the Furioso arms because the come in multiple pieces and resin is easier to modify than metal. You can add just about anything for a DCCW on the Forgeworld arms. Since my entire Wolf army uses axes, I used one for the dread too.
