Got a couple of WIP shots of my Mawloc. Really enjoying painting this, and surprisingly enough it's easier and more enjoyable then the forgeworld trygon, and I loved painting the fw trygon. The difference between the fw one and the gw one is incredible. The gw model has much shallower detail, the fw one is deeper and crisper and more detail. The fw trygon has a fully enclosed armoured tail, and the gw one just has top armour carapace plates meaning more skin showing, which I kinda like.
Yeah man, can't wait to see this get finished.

Thats an awesome looking set! I love the purple
OOOOO, a Mawloc, I like those. Yours is good, I like the work you have done on the inside of the mouth, that is a hard part. I noticed with the enclosed tail plates of the Trygon you painted the tail plates a bone colour. Are you going to paint the Mawloc's tail in a similar way or will you paint the tail's carapace like the carapace on the body?
Brilliant job. The colors look great!
