Well, she's not exactly a new mini (although I don't know what year she was a Games Day mini). I doubt we're going to see much change in the gender breakdown of Games Workshop's minis (meaning, there will still be room for women among the Sisters of Battle and Eldar/Dark Eldar- but we're not getting more than a token girl here and there in the Imperial Guard, and probably none ever in the other forces).
Yeah this model is ancient - and f'ugly.
You have given it a nice paint job though. It helps making her a bit cooler, but not a lot!
You know, I've heard a lot of people complain about pretty much all of GW's female minis.
On the one hand, I can see your point. I mean, we can get pretty spoiled for choice of beautiful female minis from Reaper, Covus Belli, Rackham, Privateer Press and the smaller studios.
Still, I'm not sure that I see a problem with Citadel's women. They just need some love.
Well there are some rather nice female GW models around (WH Inquisitors comes to mind), but this gal here is one only a mother could love IMO.
The problem with a lot of female fantasy and sci-fi wargames miniatures is that theysuffer from heaving bosum syndrome, I mean come on guys do we have to conform to the stereotypes that much?
Nice paint job though

I agree with you on that Sir Theobold, I am shocked though that when they did the new guard minis we didn't see any females for them. After all, the guard is full of women, and didn't I hear once there was an entire regiment of ladies? (I use the term lady loosely here).
I'd have to agree with Mr Camel, not a terribly nice model but a lovely paint job.
I'm afraid in a market dominated by adolescent males we are destined to have few female models and even less that don't conform to the usual fantasy stereotypes. More gritty hags in uniform I say!
