Rare Earth Magnets in the US in stores...

So I am awaiting my marine Megaforce, and I want to magnetize some of the models, like the Dread, Pred, and Rhino, and a few of the models. So does anyone know where to purchase Rare earth Mags, in the US from a store, and not online?

Most hobby shops have them. All the gaming stores where I live (so cal) sell them. However, they are about 14x more expensive that buying them online. My K&J magnets should last me through my gaming career for $40.

My local game store sells them. I know that there is a large company called Hobbytown USA (HobbyTown USA) that sells them as well. There may be a branch near were you live. But I have to agree with drpieceofme, that they are more expensive than what you can find online.

The reason I dont want to buy them online...well its more I need to look at them before I buy them and I want to take a look at the sizes because looking at them online doesn't show me anything.

Use MAGCRAFT® Brand Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets they give you all the specs to include pictures with dimensions and even the magnetic force. They have a huge selection. Shiiping runs about $8, so I buy 3 -4 sets each time I order from them.... just received my 3rd order from them this very week!
