Well here is the 1st of 6 of my Legionnaires
Damed with grenade and bolter
Let me know what you think. Had a great time painting this one. He isn't entirely finished I need to add some high light or edges to him and I cant think of a color to paint his lift shoulder pad trim. If anyone of you have any ideas please let me know. Thank please C&C
It is ok,but you need some highliting of the black armor.I like your metals(i mean bolter) as for the flame .Add a bit of blazing orange. But it is nice.Carry on good job
The flames actually do have some, but I didn't realize how much it looks like blood red so it really hard to tell if you aren't looking at the actual model. But I'm for sure going to be highlighting the armor once I get the other 5 done, something I want to save to the end
It looks like you have your flame's color progression reversed.
Bigger picture will do.
I dont feel its reversed, if you think about it the hotter the color the brighter it is until its white hot. The flame is typically hotter towards the center. But thats my view on it.
Perhaps keep the darker reds but only have a thin border rather than the whole thing. Bolter could do whith some shading and the armour could do with some highlighting.
Basically at the moment its just about table top quality but you need to do the rest of the details like the stuff on the knee pad then highlight and shade pratically everything. I do like the base though, keep up the good work!
Oh, and bigger pics!
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
