Put in a good few hours this weekend to finish this model. Quite happy with the outcome. I think the poor victim steals the show.
The Parasite of Mortrex.
I think this angle shows the action pose off the best.
If you look carefully at the tail you can see some new rippers in the "pipeline".
The parasite and it's babies.
A good example of how the ravener and warrior kits can be interchangeable with very little greenstuff.
A poor chaplain just about to be implanted!
ok, sorry if this is too "innapropriate" for the site (even though we're all mature here) am I the only one who instantly thought the end of the tail looks like a vagina? I mean it's so uncanny...anyway it looks amazing really cool I got an "alien" vibe from the facehugger
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
Anyway, I just wanted to say that you've done a pretty cool conversion. And I like the Alien (proper noun) references you've included, very cool. And of course, nice paint job, etc. Congrats on another job well done sir.
I may have asked before, but do you have any plans to do a Doom of Malantai or some other Tyranid heroes?
"If you can wait til I get home, then I swear we can make this last."
Lovely conversion you have here, seems to be a mix of a Ravener and if I'm not mistaken, the forgeworld warrior wings? Looks like the body might be a warrior body too. What's the end of the tail made out of? I think it's a couple of rending claws and a little greenstuff but I'm not entirely sure.
Great use of the Facehugger and Chestburster on the corpse too, love the Alien films and Giger's work (probably why I like nids so much) so it's good to see such a homage .
