Here's my own rendition of a Tyranid Prime. I used two Warrior bodies, more greenstuff than I've played with to date (I'm crap with the stuff), and the scything talons are from the Hormagaunt sprue. It's probably a little too "busy", not a clear enough outline, but it's the same size as a regular Warrior which will eliminate any "line of sight" arguments.
Finished it awhile ago, but I just thought I'd throw it up here for anyone looking for conversion ideas. Enjoy!

That bug is cool, reppy for you. I like how you've spaced out those talons to give it all those legs, it works very well. Though those scything talons are from the Hormagaunt sprue not the Genestealer one.
Did I say genestealer sprue? I meant hormagaunt. Yeah, that's the ticket, yeah...
