I think I fell into a coma or something... Last thing I remember I was getting ready to work on the Space Hulk set in September and now it is the end of April...
All kidding aside... I did have a little hiatus from the hobby but last night I put myself to work again feverishly getting the rest of the Space Hulk figures assembled so I can start painting again. I have 4 genestealers to go as well as the door bases and I am all set to paint.
I haven't fully committed to how I am going to start. I was initially going to prime clear with the folk art glass and tile medium... But now I am leaning on traditional spray primer and then airbrush the base coat colors on...
I have a bunch of Chaos space marine figures ready to paint as well so over the next few weeks I hope to have lots of pictures again. I am surprised at how much of an adrenaline rush I got after picking up the tools of the trade again and going right at it. I even cut myself with the x-acto knife.
Glad your back, look forward to seeing some more of your work.
Darn, who forgot to lock the door? And we were finally rid of him...!
Ehm I mean welcome back mate, good to see you're still alive and kicking. I expect pics of nicely painted minis!
