    1920s/1930s style models?

It's been a while but I'm back. I've recently gotten into the Arkham horror boardgame and wanted to convert myself some models for the player characters rather than use the cardboard cut-outs. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some models to start as a base. I'd prefer plastic but i can do metal if need be. I also need some suitable female models, although i will most likely have to greenstuff the clothes on everyone.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Wargames foundry make some darkest africa figures that have good colonial europeans.

Copplestone castings make 28mm back of beyond figures and do darkest africa too. Also check out the gangster range.

First of all, may I congratulate you on a choice well made? I myself have the base game, the Egyptian expansion, Dunwich Horror and Kingsport.

Now, for these models, here's a few sweet sites to help you get your bearings:

This one is the Pulp Era collection

    Fishman showcase! Deep Ones, anybody?

Since we're on the subject of Fishmen, I suddenly feel like bursting into song:

    If I were a Deep One...BLUB!
Okay, so now I have no signature. Great.

All day long I'd swim beneath the sea, If I were a deep one.

These have all been good starting point suggestions. Now I just have to figure out which one will best suit my purposes.

Thanks to you both for the help.
