I'm looking to make custom Deff Rollas that's also removable to attach to my Russes. I play a counts as Guard army with Ork minis but I'm looking to make an ork list as well without making my models not WYSIWYG or hard to transport.
I was thinking a toilet paper tube or something, with some small nails or tacks pushed through the inside. I figure it can be attached with magnets and some kind of plasticard "arm" or something.
What do you guys think? Any easier or cooler looking way to accomplish my goal?

i used a 1'' plastic tubing(think i got mine from a cash register reciept tape...or a credit card machine reciept tape, i forget which) then drilled a hole, halfway through the plastic, and put in round toothpicks, stick'em on with superglue, but be quick, the wood sucks the superglue up quick..as for removable, there's a dozen different ways to do it,from using sprues, to killa kan arms, or sentinel legs....etc..
You get the dozer blade with each russ kit, I would use those arms to rig a roller between, then magnet the arms under the carriage.
