    Teaser [wip] bike of aporkalypse!!

I got distracted by needing wazdakka for my speed freek list. I recently watched ghost rider with nicholas cage and
got the flame idea from there. Plus wazdakka's on his way to making a "warp super highway with his amped up bike"

    LEFT

    FRONT

    RIGHT

I've been playing with washes and glazes for fire. Dont really care about the main bike itself until the fire is done.
The bike can just be retouched up with a bright crimson red. NOTE SUPER GAS CAN ON BACK. =P

Also note, minigun in front "looted" from tau weaponry.

You guys think this will represent wazdakka really well?

Not to mention took a week cunverting wazdakka himself. =p i LOVE GREY STUFF!!!

It looks great but fire is darker on the outside than the inside.

Nice work so far, and I agree with the above that the red needs to be at the furthest edges. However, I am not too keen on the flames. They look odd and not really that much like flames in my opinion. Some do, others are not quite right. Otherwise, a nice start.

I've been following guides for fire online. Its not even halfway finished yet I have been practicing.

I've been following this guide here.

    Painting Fire - the Practice

But i dont know what I'm doing wrong. Any help in the right direction would be worth a shot.

I think i am using the wrong technique.

Thanks for that, I think I finally wrapped my head around it. I realized I needed to reverse the shading
and blending Already have 12 layers on, and I do say slow dry from vallejo helps a ton.

I decided to do a lava cracked asphalt and I'm currently working on sculpting on that. I think
a ripped apart road ravaged by a lava flow underneath would do quite nicely.

I was thinking about doing a bright sun yellow / orange mix which I am still waiting to dry. Going
to mixed that bright yellow orange into a dirty scorched brown and then a black asphalt.
