I painted up a pair of these and am looking for soem suggestions. I think the black is too plain and the blue is too much blue.
Has anyone else painted these up? I searched Google and didn't find much. Should I maybe paint the tail fins and the little piece attached to the bottom of the lower rokkit blue?
Also I tried painting the rokkits a few different colors on the blue model because the orks seem to just throw whatever type of rokkits they can find in there. I think it looks stupid though. Any suggestions for the rokkits on the black one? maybe all red tipped or yellow tipped?
Thanks for all suggestions in advance
I don't plan on adding any battle damage because 1. i cant do it and 2. it takes away from the model in my opinion.
First off as fellow ork player, I would go for the blue. Since I play goff orks, I find that getting the detail is rather hard. I started my orks with AOBR box and havnt even gotten to my deff koptas yet. Personally I quite like the blue. Maybe you could go for a deathskulls tribe or snakebites?
Blues, browns, bone...Those were the main colors I was thinking of.
Like the second one better.

I like the blue one the most. It is quite a lot of blue, but that can be sorted out by having another colour. The obvious one for orks is to the use of a white or cream, use this to add things like checks and dags in places. It would add another colour. I would look at washing the yellow missile as well, perhaps with sepia or the flesh wash.
The blue one is much better IMO, but it looks too much like this deffkopta has been manufactured by the Imperium (the clear clean painting not the tec.)
