I would like to increase the stakes by voting for a cream colored blood stained cloak with embroidered runes....
5000 pts of WoC, 5000 pts of Orcs and now 3000 pts of Ogres...What was I thinking ????
Just throwing this out there; have you considered a dark olive green, worked up through browns? The brown shading would tie it in with the weapon and barrel, while the green would complement the red; as long as you keep the green in the olive/dark domain, I can't imagine any "Christmas problems" emerging No matter what you chose to do, I think it will end up looking great anyway... that's a finely painted Dwarf there
"In dedicato imperatum ultra articulo mortis"
Nice stuff dude. I really like him. The green idea would work really well I feel, maybe with a cream for the sleeves. Or a red for the cloak. Either way they go well together.
Hmmm decisions decisions. Right well..... Everyone is saying Cream or Green. (even my Mrs is saying Green)
Personally I'm not sold on the Green. I'm not sure it'd mesh well with the other colours. Red and Cream would work, even Black would Work.
Red would look better with a Gold Rune on the back though. White and gold tends to blend together. So.....Maybe Red? even though it's right next to a Red Helmet.
I might do the skirt Black as it's a nice neutral colour.
Well i would have said a red cloak however i didnt think it was a good idea with the helmet so i choose a color that woudl really stand out from the rest of the model, cream, i think the problem with green is the model is already dark, as its a charcater i think you want people to notice it, you dont have to do the runes gold, you could do them black, brown, green, red, you could get away with any of those it they are just around the base of the cloak.
