every time i look a tzeentch anything its always blue and gold, blue and white, or blue and purple. that, in my eyes is a problem.
as the "Lord of Change" you think his followers would change the color once in a while.
but i digress, mine are liche purple and a mixture of dwarf bronze and mithril silver
you'd think that would look slaanesh-y, but i think it fits tzeentch perfectly
i'll post pics when my camera decides to work again

Now we sit in Hall of Gods
That's no problem, I think purple fits Tzeench perfectly, after all purple is a typical wizard color. A friend of mine has painted his TS purple, and they look much better than the studio TS.. The official TS color scheme sucks anyway, doesn't look 'bad guy' enough...
Ave Dominus Nox!
I know a guy too who has painted his TS marines purple... they are really cool.
For myself I've painted them in dark metallic colours, mostly by drybrushing beaten copper on a black undercoat... (and some gold highlight)

Please do not get annoyed on my spelling: i am not a native speaker...
i really agree when i was a noob my first thoguht was that they were nnot chaos space marines just normal SM'sThe official TS color scheme sucks anyway, doesn't look 'bad guy' enough...
yeah go for it nad change thte color maybe do somethin really wacky like green (just a thought)
I've always thaught that Tzeench colours were too.. Egyptian Ultramarine.. if you get the meaning.
The scheme you suggested sounds better, can't wait for pictures.
In the Future... There is only Pie!
I wanted to paint all the blue; black, and all the gold; silver. But I never did it, thinking that it wouldn't be aloud.

Some guy I met in Boston has a really great colorscheme for his TS -- instead of blue, they're sort of a light sea green, which mixes wonderfully with the gold -- I'm not quite sure what color it was and he was a pretty bad painter, but the colors looked really nice.
I think that green thousand sons would look pretty cool (sorta like the salamanders) but they might look a bit too nurgle.
Don't look now... But there's one man too many in this room and I think it's you.

I'm experimenting with turquoise for my TS, it works quite well I think
