Been a bit quiet on the painting front cos i moved house but my brother asked me to work on some of his Deathguard mini's for him and i am very nearly finished with Typhus and thought i'd post a WIP.
Really enjoying these Nurgle mini's and i'm hoping he'll be happy enough with the end result to let me have a crack at Nurglifying his landraider.
The greenstuff work on the base was a last minute addition. I liked the idea that the rot follows the deathguard around like a festering green tide consuming the living and the fallen alike.
The stains are watered down flesh wash. The green started at Knarloc and gets washed with green ink, dry brushed Catachan, black ink and dry brush rotting flesh.
Comments, questions and crits welcome.
Bleed Black Label S.D.M.F's!!
I think the armour would benefit from a wash, a dark red or brown one, to bring out more of the details and provide some more shading. Not a huge fan of drybrushing either, but apart from that I say job's a good 'un!
Looks pretty good, however a better picture would do it more justice...
5000 pts of WoC, 5000 pts of Orcs and now 3000 pts of Ogres...What was I thinking ????
