I want storm troopers.
No, I want original storm troopers, not the normal kind, nor the kasrkin.
I want converted Catachan storm troopers.
So once again, I took up that great tome, the titanic GW catalog. I was at a
for a few moments. I knew I wanted Catachan heads and arms, but what to use
as armor? Then, my mind's eye saw two comletely overrated models:
A Space Marine.
A plastic Cadian.
So as such the basic format of my Storm Troopers will be as follows:
Cadian bodies and legs, Catachan arms and heads, and lasguns with flamer tanks
(hotshot power packs) on the side and targeters from the plastic heavy weapon
squad missile launchers.
Two will have plasma guns, and the sergeant will have a Space Wolf Bolter, Power
Sword, and a Deathwatch head (the one without the helmet).
Using various Space Marine shoulder pads, I will complete their armour.
Well, how does it sound?
Sounds very cool and not very expensive. I'd drop the bolter and use a plasma pistol. Ap2 St7 is not to be overlooked, nevermind the extra attack in CC. You could then get 6 bs4 plasma shots per turn, lovely. Use spare backpacks from the HW sprue and the catachan sprue with greenstuff to make parachute backpacks. That way they will look like they could deepstrike.
those orignol storm troopers are really hard to come across and buy but it sounds good otherwise.
"Everyone should try arrogance, it's absolutely wonderful. You can go out, do whatever you want, and go home. And the best part is, no matter what you do, or how much you ***** everything up, nothing's ever your fault because 'thou art god'."
