This was my entry in the Battlegroup section of the P3 Grandmasters painting competition. They were awarded a silver medal.
The color scheme was a challenge from my wife. I had already started painting up some of Magnus' warjacks with tons of battle damage on them, and wanted to make this battle group match. She decided that the blue on them especially needed to be more impressive (subtle blending mixed with strong contrast of the darkest to lightest colors). I think they turned out pretty well.
Anyway, here they are.
I've posted them all up on CMON, if you feel like voting, I won't stop you:
Lots of silvers for you this time around?
They look great. Always loved Magnus, always will. His fluff is just so darn cool and some of the nicest 'jacks in the game belong to him. The white/blue combination works very well and looks quite impressive. I like Magnus' face the best, very expressive and that stubble is just cool!
Any chance of seeing more pics of the 'jacks? And what's your next project?
Very nice work. I like how the weathering came out.

Amazing work on Magnus' face - the whole mini looks wonderful, but I think the face is the best part!
The 'Jacks look very good too - certainly like they've been around and seen a lot of use!
