As you can probably tell I have been randomly painting stuff over the last few months, however after a random trip to GW with my bro inlaw (after far too much DoW2) I found myself with a pretty large Ork army.
First up was Da Boss
This was the first ork I have painted in quite a while and to be honest I could do with doing it again, I am not happy with the skin tones or highlights. However he was just a AOBR model and I plan on getting a metal WB unless FW make a better one. Oh my Bro Inlaw picked up an Eldar army hence the helmet on the base
Next up is a squad of boyz from the AOBR box. Was very happy with the skin tones on these and getting better painting checks
Finally is some FW Grot tanks, my army is going to have a Big Mek and is based around his crazy contraptions.
My plan is to paint them in a variation of camo's as the grots are sneaky gitz and clever to boot, so not standing out might be the first thing on their minds.
Here is the Kommanda very happy with the highlights on the coat and cap, they look a little thick in the photos but he is rather small lol.
And the tanks
I need a better camera I know, really hard to get the gitz in focus.
Any thoughts on what I could do better would be a great help. However keep in mind I got another 80+ boyz to go lol. Just taking my time on the FW and big units.
