I have 50 space marines that are all stuck together but unpainted. They have been glued to bases and quite a deep layer of sand and PVA has been put on the bases then sealed with dilute PVA. It is now rock hard.
I then saw some Dragonforge resin bases online that I thought would look great on my Salamanders. I had a go at getting a craft knife under the feet of the figure but there was no shifting it. I could hack them off with a big pair of pliers and a chissel but I'm hoping to keep all my fingers and there are 50 of the blighters.
Does anyone know anything I can soak the bases in to loosen the PVA glue?
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
You should be able to just snap the bases in half along the footline.

Hot water should work.
