my favorite way to make stained glass is take a piece of paper and fill in the hole on the buildingso that one side is completely covered and sealed, then on the other side take a hot glue gun and spray it on to the paper till it fills it in, kinda like a mold. after that just take a hobby knife and scrape off the paper and boom you got a window. takes a little time to dry though and make sure you use clear glue sticks, if you want to add a design and your pretty good at sculpting, take bits of used wire and glue them in a design on the window, then paint them black fill in the other spots with color, =) just my two copper

The only idea i have heard of using stained glass windows up till now is by using the plastic from the blisterpacks.

Just cut it into shape and try to make a fairly good motive on that.
How your gonna do that I'm not aware of, that's all up to you...
Just remember that no windows are gigantig unsuported things.
Remember to put some fasade in them.

Clear plastic painted with normal paint looks well, but if you really want to go into perfection then there's lots of cheap kits for making real staned glass partterns but I doubt your that fussy.

    Well, maybe some people are?

    Good idea there Sister.
Actually you just gave me more ideas for terrain.

But everyone, SIster Mel here may have a good point. If you really want to put your back into the terrain you could consider to make the stained glass for real.
Just get your hands on some pieces of multicoloured glass, and just get gluing!

Ok maybe not the first thing you wanna go ahead and make, but keep the idea in the back of your head. I just might come in handy at one point...

i like Brother Willim's idea with the hot glue. it seem like the end result would lokk realy good.
also does anyone have any ideas on what would be inside a imperial church?

Yup, I'd agree with Brother Willim as well. It sounds like a nice middle way between going over the top and taking the easy way out. With taking the right care, I think you could end up with nice windows.

Smashing things up and gluing it back into a pattern, be it Tic Tac boxes or real glass is most likely too pain stakingly slow and the end result would be very dependent on skill and patience.

If you just take a sheet of transparent plastic and paint it up, i think it'll lack texture too much. It'd be too flat, unless wire etc were added or you did a really good paint job, painting in the texture
