Welcome to Librarium Online!
Sorry for the quality of pictures - those were taken with my phone. I hope you can see some details - at least enough to get a general feel for the miniature.
It is an update to what was my GodHammer pattern Inquisitorial Land Raider. I moved sponsons forward, swapped the weapons and added some bitz here and there. I have more purity seals in the works - plan to go overboard with those - but overall have the modeling side done I think.
The pain scheme is based around the Mortifactors chapter. Black with bone, with trim color being solid red as I pretend to play 3rd company... I like the bulk of the model being black, with sharp highlights and all trim/rivets being done in gold. The main question that I have at this moment is the railing on the top platform. I am begging to think that perhaps I could make it red or bone to break that sea of chaos black color, but I do not want to overdo it either…
What are your thoughts – leave it like it is, or go for that last change?
Looks sharp, I like the paint work so far. It's a tough question-- I wouldn't do white because it will draw your eye there right away, and I assume it's not intended to be a focal point of the model. There's not enough red on the rest of it for it to make sense. I see there are faint rivets on there but I'd say if you want a bit more bling up there you might try a small half-round plastic rod along the railing top, painted gold. It would blend in better and would still break up the black area. Evergreen Scale Models makes several widths to pick from.
