I recently (about a year ago) got given an airbrushing kit as a gift. This thing came with 2 airbrushes and an air compressor. Upon the first time of my breaking the things apart and cleaning them, I couldn't put it back together again. I had some problems with the trigger assembly.
Anyway. Recently I have been really wanting to use an airbrush as an aid to my painting. So, for any of you that do use an airbrush on a regular basis, can you recommend one to me that doesn't cost the price of an asain baby?
I'm based in the uk so a link to the website would also be greatly received.
I have a quite a pricey airbrush, so I can't really recommend cheaper ones as I didn't look at them.
BUT, what I can suggest no matter what you buy, buy a gravity feed dual action rather than something like the one linked above where it is a siphon feed. You will use far less paint and get much less wastage.
A sparmax DH 103 (I think?) is a pretty cheap decent quality brush that will get you up and running easy enough.
I was recommended and bought the Badger Anthem pricey but worth it.
I was wondering if I can also jump in on this one...
I am currently researching an airbrush as my next purchase...
What kinds of questions do I want to ask myself when looking into buying one, like i.e. are there any airbrushes ment for
extremly high detail?
Total newb on this one but I am willing to spend a few extra bucks to get a quality airbrush.
