simple question realy
i find myself with a lot of time on my hands but a lack of space
just had an operation and will be stuck in a wheel chair for upwards of 6 months
i was going to spend the time painting and modeling but alas i now cannot fit into my painting modeling area
any advice on motivation or a new mobile painting area
(cheap as poss )
Well for a painting area the hobby tray I think fits on your lap
Motivation? For me it's just a question of wanting to get stuff done, so I do it - finding the time is the part I struggle with What helps me is having a pile of boxes that need dealing with, for example I've 2 land raiders, 2 drop pods, 2 boxes of terminators, an assault squad and a land speeder under my painting desk and I know if I don't have it done by July the missus won't buy me more for my birthday... lol
Put on some music, or watch a movie whilst you paint. When I painted the first majority of my Nid army I watched the entire Alien movie series followed by the starship trooper series. And it also helps to give inspiration

I too struggle with motivation at times and ironically enough just had surgery, though it was on my painting hand! But having a tv or music on helps me keep at it. Also the fact that i have a small room with all my models, White Dwarfs and codices and army books helps for inspiration.
But that painting tray from gw should work well, though lighting my be tricky.
