decided to throw myself at painting my WoC army, and my god.. I had no idea how time consuming it would be, but I definatly love the rewarding feeling when you put your final touch on a model =)
will update the thread regulary when I paint new models, so I can look back at the thread as a sort of journal to see how I develop my painting skills.
anyway enjoy the pictures, and please give me some feedback
First ever painting model (decided to start big, as I cant really play with an unassembled model, and wanted to paint it before putting it together >< )
took me about 3 weeks to paint the hellcannon as i keept repainting it
next up, i decided to try out a chaos spawn. (never really did get fully satisfied with this one)
Next up, 5 marauders (5 painted, 145 to go >< )
few pictures of them all together
still in the learning progress, but Im overall quite satisfied with the results as these are the first models I have painted
gotta work on speeding it up abit, as I tend to spend several days on each model, never really satisfied, or able to put that last hand on a model and go start on a new...

Now now lads. This is a forum about grown men playing with toy soldiers. Lets be adults please.
I find it best to paint more than one model at once. I usually paint a unit at a time, it speeds things up no end! perhaps start with five, paint one colour at once over each model then on to the next.
Keep it up.
They look great. especially those marauders. Hard to critique as some pic are a bit fuzzy. How did you paint the hellcannon jaws? Looks like you started with grey and then went to bleached bone,. I have found that brown -> bleached bone looks a bit more realistic. Other than that great job! keep updating with more pics.
