I've been walking around with this idea to base a Vampire Counts army on the Lich King from the Warcraft universe. And at the head of this army I of course needed the King himself. But with many failed atempts to build him from scratch using mainly GS and random bitz I discovered that the Dark Eldar lord has would be a perfect starting point. The Dark Eldar armor looks very similar to Blood Knights and vampires in general. So after many hours of fiddly work, this is what I came up with. Now I need your help to see where he needs improvements.
Edit: I need to learn how to take proper photographs
i like it some good work there (reppage coming your way). Be good to see when it gets painted up.

Looks pretty cool! In terms of suggestions... I don't really see that it needs much more. Maybe something at the bottom of the cloak, at the back near the ankle hem? I don't know what you'd put there, though - maybe a fur lining, or just some sigils hanging from a belt or something?
Hm, yeah that might work. It's an area that could need something but I'm not sure either.
The cloak is supposed to be tattered and torn below the hand holding it but it didn't turn out very well so I think I shall redo it. It's kind of blurry in the pictures also.
Anyway, thanks for the comments guys
Oh I'm very excited to see that painted up. Nice work!
Reminds me of the Witch King from LOTR, though the pose is very natural for a vampire 'unleashing his undead minions on the world' >
I'II be interested to see how the resculpting of the cloak will go, very well done otherwise.
Any thoughts on colour scheme yet?
