hey, here is the start of a chaos army...I always paint the basic marines first and work my way up, but lose interest before I get to terminators or hq models so this time I decided to do it the other way around...the only issue I have with a chaos army is that I'm scared gw will change the chaos models, I know this isn't the rumor forum but does anyone know if they will be re-doing the chaos marine models anytime soon? anyway thanks for looking..oh and the pictures really don't do them justice, as you can see I am a terrible photographer but also our current camera is not nearly as good at taking pictures of miniatures as our last one

chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
Nice work with the Lord there, seems very menacing and powerful with all the bulk.
Though personaly I liked the 'mood lighting' in the previous pics
GLORY TO THE DICE GODS!
The termie lord is brilliant. I especially like the little details like his cloak and the busted marine helmet at his feet.
Revenant Moon Necrons: (W/L/D) 0/1/0 (6th edition: 13/2/2)(5th edition: 14/6/4)(3rd edition Codex: 16/4/7)
XIX Legion: (W/L/D) 0/0/0 (5th edition: 14/12/2)(5th edition Codex: 4/3/0)
Black Legion: (W/L/D) 1/0/0 (6th edition: 2/3/0)
Something Wicked... Reikwald Beastmen: (W/L/D) 10/4/1
Simple, but striking. Also, nice and dark and evil for Chaos.
I wouldn't worry about GW redoing the basic CSM, though. They were reworked with the last 'dex, and I don't know that they'd improve on them much. We might see some of the cult troops (Berserkers, T. Sons, Noise Marines ... maybe Plague Marines even though they just went Finecast ... maybe), amongst other things, but not the basic troops.
Keep on paintin'!
