    different space marine scheme *pics*

hey, I don't know if anyone remembers any of my other paint schemes, but every single marine I have ever painted has been crisp and perfect, which is how I paint best, but I've always felt painting this way is unrealistic and frankly kind of lame, so I thought I'd have a go at some really dirty, gritty marines who haven't cleaned their armor in a month or so. This is what I came up with, I know they look like lamenters or imperial fists, but I intended for them to be my own chapter

Apart from the shoulder pads thats exactly the same as how I did my imperial fists 1st company army (to use as deathwing).

Its really easy to do huh!

Took out the overly warm colors. This should be closer to what I think you were linking!

I adjusted the tone in photoshop, and applied a cool photofilter.

What type of camera are you using? There may be a white balance setting you can adjust to prevent the overly warm look.
