This was my first attempt at a conversion of any kind. These models can be used as Wolf Guard or Sternguard.
The combi-meltas were made by cutting off the grip of a bolter and adding in the antennae looking bit that comes with a las-cannon devastator. The plan is to paint the barrel to look more like a traditional melta gun.
The combi-plasmas were made by cutting the handle off a plasma pistol and attaching it sideways to the side of the bolt gun fore grip. These are probably my least favorite, but they work for WYSIWYG.
I think I am most pleased with the way the combi-flamers turned out. I made them by removing the grip on the bolt guns and adding the front tube of a Tau flamer.
I apologize if the pictures are not sized correctly. I shrunk them down in my photobucket account but they still appear very large when I preview the post. I am not very tech savvy in case you couldn't tell .
Comments and criticisms are welcome.
Thanks for looking!
Why did the chicken cross the road?
For the greater good.
I'II agree with you on the plasma pistols, they almost NEED to be oriented vertically to look right. In this case, I feel for the poor marine who's using the cooling coils for the plasma pisol as a weapon grip
Flamers are looking swell, though perhaps you could use the heads from the old flamers (the cone ones) as that would suit the cylinder shape of those fuel tanks.
GLORY TO THE DICE GODS!
