So I've been working on re-doing my old space marines because I wanted a "cooler" base colour so that it would allow the highlights to Pop! more. So here is what I have so far...
I was going for something along the lines of this:
And it turned out something like this:
Now, beside highlighting, which I should really learn to do some day but just have an unreasonable aversion to it, what can I do to break up all that blue in the model? I still want to highlight the kneepad, and write some company designation on it, but I'm not sure if I should go for white or silver. Or should I even worry about it?
Let me know where you think I should go from here.
Firstly, I like the scheme. Secondly, have you considered grey for the kneepad? I think a lighter shade of grey would look good.
