So Ive been wanting to start my Tau army for a while but never got around to it, until now. I've got my army list set out and everything but still can't decide on a good colour scheme (camo style) for the models. Anyone have any ideas? Personally it's tied for me between forest greens and urban blues. Preferrably not generic tan/sand coloured though.
When in doubt, use more genestealers!
I've seen a few different schemes but have to say that some of the white ones are my personal favourites and have inspired me to start a Tau army. White armour with a bit of red here ant there with a dark secondary such as grey or black can look amazingly good
Well what I had in mind was something like this:

Although I would paint it primarily black with red as a secondary colour, so I'd have more black than that. Personal preference though, of course. I just think that as a colour combination you don't get more awesome than red and black for anything.
try start with a grey primer, fill lines with red and paint with black, try on a fire warrior and see what you think, it is a little more effort though
