I started painting my WHFB Tzeentch Demon army, which includes 6 Screamers (9 if my bids go through on eBay) and find that the "wing-flaps" have large areas of flat space, which is difficult to paint well, so I am looking for any suggestions on solutions for this issue, such as what others may have done. I'd like to keep to Tzeentch colors - Blue, dark Purple, Pink, Yellow, and Gold.
As an aside: does anyone else think they are a little to symmetrical to be demons associated with the Chaos God most representative of Chaos? Plus, they have flailing tentacle attacks, but the models have horns/tusks (I am adding some Reaper conversion tentacles), so what gives?
Thanks in advance,
if you have airbrush - you can easy paint your screamers to a high standart)
if you haven't this one you should to start with basecoat.
for screamers I would like to use white primer, as it makes the model more brighter
pick up one of basecolors. ultramarines blue for example.
than add some water (for 1 dot of paint give 8 dots of water)
and wash all model
wait 20 minutes
than repeate the procedure
but dont wait and simple add some ice blue to the previous mix and with a very thin layer add this colourmix on the brightest parts of the model
make some pics
I will see the result and give you next recommendation for that model
