Here is a Gorman that I painted in such a way that he'd match both my Cygnar and Magnus forces.
As an interesting note, the a lot of the colors are book ended with opposing complimentary colors. For example, the blue is shaded with purple and highlighted with a yellow color.
Overall, I'm happy with how he turned out, even if he is a bit brighter than what I usually do.
That's an interesting idea, using the complimentary colours (I think that's the right terminology!) in the highlighting process. It looks great, though, especially the purple shading.
Plus I've never really thought about what I'd do with any mercenary units in terms of their paint scheme. I tend to stick to faction units!
I've been experimenting with other uses. For example, if you want to create a more neutral version of almost any color, shade it with its complimentary color. When the two mix together, they turn a little brown. What you end up with is something that looks very interesting without getting very bright.
