I really like the hellion Sky boards for the Dark Eldar and was thinking how i can transit that into my new Night Lords army.
Would people accept the following as a 'raptor':
Fell Bat (Fantasy Model), with a Chaos Space Marine mounted on top, then using green stuff or some chain to make a lasso around the fell bat? Obviously i would have to model it on a 25mm base (so that it is legal) but would anyone have an issue with it?
Thanks for your comments in advance
I don't see why not. I would think it was cool!
Pretty sure you can use a bigger base if you want to but not a smaller one. It might have changed though. Sure someone will know.
We will want pics of course

The bigger base rule was 4th ed, you must now mount it with whatever base it was supplied with. A very good idea otherwise.
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
Build the damned things and if someone refuses to play you its their loss.I always strive to play against well painted and converted armies. It allows me to 'enter' the battle.
Praise be to the Emperor!!
Raptors come on a 25mm base, so a conversion with anything else would be inappropriate.
I say go for it.
